Vaccines and #mRNA-based therapies have proven to be powerful tools to provide an effective and timely response to pandemics and other serious diseases, including various forms of cancer. However, drug development constantly faces high attrition rates, leading to failures related to efficacy and safety. Mathematical modeling is an effective tool to guide drug optimization strategies by reducing drug development time and costs, as confirmed by the growing interest in modeling and simulation applications by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
