COSBI at ECCB 2026

Interpretable gene-program analysis

COSBI took part in the European Conference on Computational Biology (ECCB) 2026 in Geneva, with Nicola Casiraghi and Filippo Gastaldello attending the event.

During the conference, Filippo presented our work on a computational workflow for interpretable gene-program analysis in scRNA-seq data, developed through a collaboration between the Systems Biology Group at COSBI and the Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics at the University of Trento, led by Alessandro Romanel.

ECCB 2026 was also a valuable opportunity to connect with the computational biology community, exchange ideas, and explore emerging methods that can help strengthen and extend COSBI’s computational workflows and analytical approaches.
