For many years, COSBI has collaborated with experts from academia and industry to ensure that its research activities remain aligned with the evolving needs of computational biology and drug development.
Among these collaborations, the long-standing relationship with Ivan Nestorov, former Head of Pharmacometrics at Biogen Inc. (USA) and current member of COSBI’s Scientific Advisory Board, has played an important role in providing scientific guidance and external evaluation of the center’s research directions.
Through annual reviews and continuous scientific exchange, the Scientific Advisory Board supports COSBI in assessing the relevance, impact, and strategic direction of its activities within the broader international landscape of systems biology, pharmacometrics, and translational modeling.
Reflecting on nearly a decade of collaboration with COSBI, Ivan Nestorov shared the following testimonial:
“My history of collaboration with COSBI, which spans over almost 10 years, has been genuinely rewarding. The neurology projects that we worked together on have been handled in a rigorously scientific and professional manner. COSBI possesses the necessary modeling and systems biology expertise and adequate computational resources to handle such high complexity tasks. Working with their scientists has been a delight. The therapeutic and regulatory impact of our collaborations on high profile drug development programs has been recognized.”
The collaboration has involved complex neurology-focused projects and contributed to high-profile drug development programs, highlighting the value of integrating computational modeling, systems biology, and pharmacometric approaches in translational research.
