Alex De Nardi presented his poster: Survival analysis
Last week, the European Network to Cure ALS (ENCALS) annual meeting was held in Turin. It was a great opportunity to reflect on the progress made through international collaboration in understanding this complex neurodegenerative disease and improving patient care.
Our PhD student Alex De Nardi presented a poster titled: “Survival analysis of comprehensive clinical trial identifies potential prognostic markers and suggests treatment efficacy in C9orf72 carriers“, a project developed in collaboration with Jessica Mandrioli’s team from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. His research focused on analyzing clinical trial data to uncover the key factors that influence survival in ALS patients — while also shedding light on treatment efficacy in specific patient subclasses.
This work exemplifies COSBI’s commitment to advancing the understanding of neurodegenerative diseases, and highlights the power of data analysis in supporting both clinicians and researchers.
