COSBI’s Approach to Work-Life Balance
Talk

COSBI participated in the 2025 ISMB/ECCB Conference, one of the leading international events in bioinformatics and computational biology, with both an oral presentation and a poster contribution.
Danilo Tomasoni presented CSpace, a concise biomedical concept embedding designed to improve out-of-vocabulary coverage, support semantic similarity, and enable efficient semantic search and exploration of disease–gene–condition relationships.
The paper is available here
Nicola Casiraghi presented a poster titled “scRNA-seq Workflow for Preterm Rabbit Lungs: Insights into Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia”, highlighting how single-cell RNA sequencing can help uncover key mechanisms of lung development and the biology of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD).
COSBI is proud to contribute to advancing computational approaches for biomedical research and to engage with the global research community.
