From 24–26 September 2025, London hosted the RNA Vaccines and Therapeutics Conference, an event dedicated to the latest advances in RNA biology and its applications in medicine.
COSBI was represented by PhD student Elisa Pettinà, who presented a poster on her research into computational modeling approaches supporting the development of mRNA-based therapies. Her work focuses on a mechanistic PBPK model for mRNA-LNP monoclonal antibodies that predicts pharmacokinetics, identifies key bottlenecks, and contributes to more sustainable drug development.
The conference gathered scientists from academia and industry, offering an important opportunity for discussion and exchange on one of today’s most rapidly evolving research fields.

We are glad that COSBI could contribute to this dialogue and that young researchers like Elisa are sharing their work within the international scientific community.
