Exploring AI-Assisted Scientific Discovery
This week at COSBI, our researchers took part in a focused training session on WISE (Wise is an Interactive Scientific Expert), led by its developer Danilo Tomasoni.
The session began with an introduction to the principles behind WISE, highlighting how the system integrates AI methods with Knowledge Graphs to support efficient exploration and interpretation of biomedical literature. The team then moved to practical exercises, working directly with the tool to test its capabilities and evaluate how it can enhance day-to-day research activities.
This training represents an important step toward strengthening AI-assisted discovery workflows within COSBI, and toward adopting advanced computational tools that can accelerate scientific insight.
