Back from ISMB/ECCB 2025 – Spotlight on Nicola Casiraghi!
After an exciting week in Liverpool, Nicola Casiraghi is back from ISMB/ECCB where he presented his work on:
“scRNA-seq Workflow for Preterm Rabbit Lungs: Insights into Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia”. A study on single-cell RNA sequencing to better understand lung development and BPD in preterm models.
Throughout the poster sessions, Nicola had the opportunity to connect with researchers from around the world. Some of the most engaging conversations revolved around:
• Adapting scRNA-seq pipelines for rare diseases
• Translational challenges in pediatric respiratory research
• Integrating multi-omics into computational workflows
