To Marco Zardo - our new intern
A recent topic of interest in the field of Systems Biology is the automatic creation of mathematical models from scientific literature. While there are numerous results and tools for the simulation of biological systems using mathematical models, there remains the problem of generating the models themselves, which are normally the result of many years of work by more than one research group.
Marco Zardo, under the supervision of Danilo Tomasoni (COSBI) and prof. Mario Lauria from the University of Trento, will study how to interface WISE, a tool developped by our Foundation, with one of the GTPs currently available in order to process the output of the tool and obtain the required model.
