Computational Biologist / Bioinformatics Scientist
We are looking for a Computational Biologist / Bioinformatics Scientist (Junior/Senior) to join our Systems Biology team in Rovereto (Italy).

Start: May/June 2026
Contract: Maternity leave replacement
You will work at the intersection of biology, data science, and translational research, contributing to projects on multi-omics data integration, therapeutic target identification, and drug repurposing.
What you will do
- Analyze and integrate multi-omics datasets
- Develop computational approaches for target identification
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and partners
- Contribute to research projects (and coordinate activities for senior profiles)
- Communicate results through publications and collaborations
Your profile
- Junior: M.Sc. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Systems Biology or related
- Senior: Ph.D. in a relevant field
- Strong skills in Python/R, Git, and workflows (Snakemake/Nextflow)
- Experience with omics data analysis (bulk & single-cell RNA-seq)
- Interest in systems biology, networks, or drug discovery
