We’re excited to welcome Frederick Abi Chahine to COSBI as a visiting thesis student!
Frederick is currently enrolled in the Master’s program in Quantitative and Computational Biology (QCB) at the Università di Trento. During his time at COSBI, he will work on the development of hybrid ML–PBPK/QSP models aimed at integrating mRNA sequence information with mechanistic modeling.
His project focuses on leveraging machine learning and neural networks to estimate key parameters in mRNA-based immunotherapies. Frederick will be supervised by Elisa Pettinà and Stefano Giampiccolo at COSBI, with Luca Marchetti as academic tutor.
This work represents a step toward tighter integration of data-driven and mechanistic approaches within systems pharmacology.
Stay tuned to see what Frederick will discover!
